We have a small flock of Black Welsh Mountain sheep who are kept for the quality of their meat and also the colour and quality of their wool.

 

We also keep a few other breeds,for the fun of it, such as Southdown and Norfolk Horn.

 

 The Southdown produces a great quality fleece for hand spinning, the Norfolk Horn fleece is a nightmare to spin, but is fantastic as a slug repellent when laid around the base of your plants.
