Tony. (Founder of Gert's Farm)
Along with his partner Sharon, he keeps sheep, chickens and Indian Runner Ducks.
As well as a great deal of practical experience, Tony has studied a range of smallholding skills at college and is keen that the family be as self sufficient as they possibly can be.
Sharon (aka, Daisy Main Crop)
Grows all the family fruit and veg, spins and weaves the wool from their sheep and makes a wide range of chutneys, jams and preserves for the family larder.
Emma (aka, Bunty of the Buns)
Bunty's passion is food. Living in the Langfords with her sister, a small dog and several cats, she grows fruit and veg, keeps chickens and is about to become a beekeeper.
An ex-teacher, Bunty runs many of our Saturday courses in her house, and is passionate about smallholder skills, such as baking and preserving but more importantly, eating.
Chris The Dig
A proffesional gardener, Chris also keeps chickens and ducks.
